Welcome
The Old Homosassa Village Association welcomes everyone to come see, experience and explore what we have to offer. Enjoy our hometown hospitality. Old Homosassa is a unique Florida fishing village about 90 minutes west of Orlando, north of Tampa and southwest of Gainesville in the heart of the Nature Coast.
Our quaint little riverside village offers many fine restaurants that serve a variety from fresh seafood, Cajun gumbo, Cuban cuisine and Smokehouse meats. Our visitors enjoy the fine offerings of local artists' wares, including beautiful hand thrown pottery, creative art in metal, glass, jewelry and original decor. Join us each March as the galleries turn on the lights for Luminary Art walk. Enjoy the evening and browse thru the galleries and talk with the artists.
